NOVA is a DJ/Producer and Promoter based in Oakland, CA and spins electronic music with the intent of raising the divine feminine energy. Her healing and uplifting sounds take you on a journey beyond space and time. When she spins in the club scene she mixes a variety of styles of electronic music including deep house, progressive house, tech house, afrohouse, latin house and indie dance. NOVA also performs at sound healing, yoga, fashion events and ecstatic dance events where she mixes in downtempo and a wider range of music styles.

She co-founded a music collective, “Space Queen” in 2015 and hosted events with the focus on delivering amazing audio, lighting, and bringing together a group of conscious party-goers. Before she started DJing, she was in a 3 piece band “Dirty Focus” and played guitar, synth, sang vocals, and wrote original music. Music has always been her main passion in life since she was very young.

NOVA co-founded another DJ collective in 2018 with two DJ friends called Frequency Sf. They host a midweek happy hour clubbing experience previously at Halcyon and currently at Monarch in SF called "Reverse". NOVA was also a member of an all female dj collective called Booty Patrol, where they host monthly parties at F8 Nightclub. The collective was featured at the Santa Cruz Festival in 2018. She produced an event called “Fluid” which featured amazing female DJ’s, musicians, dancers, and performers at Bar Fluxus in San Francisco. She is the co-producer of “Sensual”, which is an inclusive community that elevates female identifying and queer artists with a purpose to raise consciousness and celebrate love through music and dance. Nova currently is working on a solo electronic music production “Elevate” at The Midway in San Francisco and is producing music in her group “Portal Prism”.

DJing festivals has been her dream since she started the craft and is ecstatic to be able to share her love of music to a bigger audience. She performed at Serenity Gathering Festival and she was a co-producer/curator of the Heart of Serenity stage for the past two years. NOVA is beyond grateful to have the opportunity to not only perform but to also give a platform to other talented up and coming artists. She also collaborates with other musicians in her sets adding vocalists, violinists and cellists to create a more layered and uplifting sound. NOVA performed at Burning Man at various theme camps including Opulent Temple’s “Opulent Chill” with violinist String Theory during a beautiful sunrise set on the playa. She is looking forward to more amazing opportunities to play at festivals and to continue working in production.
